SUCCESSFUL 50th ANNIVERSARY WEEKEND
FOR THE CHINO BASQUE CLUB
The weekend started out with a parade of klika members from Aldude and California as well as California dancers. The parade was led by a 1947 Ford driven by Andréa Bidart-Oteiza chauffeuring the Club’s President and Vice President, JB Aguerre and Isidore Camou, distinguished by their cowboy hat and boneta respectively.
The Pantxoa Carrere concert was well-received after a delicious dinner prepared by Steve Gamboa, et.al. It was a wonderful start to a great celebration.
The picnic began with Besta Berri at mass officiated by Father Egiguren from Boise, ID.
According to the Chino Champion over 1,000 people attended.
