Organized Basque dancing in the Southern California area has taken place since 1932.  It has been a unifying force in maintaining the cultural awareness for many young Basques and has become their base in the Basque community.

It is important to note that all of the dance groups are autonomous; they do not  belong to either Club in Southern California, but the two Basque clubs in the area certainly support their efforts.

Today there are four dance groups: Xori Ttipiak (ages 4-6), Euskaldun Izarrak (ages 7-9), Dantzari Onestak (ages 10-12), and Gauden Bat (ages 13-99).
