BASQUE EASTER
Easter will be celebrated with our community on Sunday, April 3, 2016, the week after Easter. Mass will be at St. Margaret Mary’s Hall in Chino at 10 a.m. by Father Altuna. Basque breakfast will be served at the Centro Basco Hotel after mass.
MAY EVENT TO FEATURE SO CALIFORNIA KLIKA
The May fundraiser will be on Saturday, May 21 at 6 p.m. It will include a tribute to the Southern California Klika which started in 1967. If you have been a member and/or have photos, please contact:Marianna Etcheverria at (951)218-1978

Record numbers attended Gabi’s birthday party on February 28. Gabi has been a member of the Chino Basque Club for many years and continues to be a huge supporter. We are proud to have him as a member and are very grateful to both Gabi and Sophie.

BASQUES AT SMITHSONIAN

Begoña Echeverria attended a committee meeting in Washington D.C. in February.
Begoña learned more about the planned festivities and exhibitions including
shipbuilding exhibits, a small version of a handball court is being constructed, dancers and klika from around the United States are being asked to perform, and NOKA will be there with Mikel Markez to name a few. While we will keep our website updated with information, Begoña is happy to answer any question you may have at the next Club lunch.
