The general meeting for all members will be held on Thursday, August 25, 6 p.m. at the Club. This is your chance to voice your opinions and/or suggestions in reference to the club activities as well as the annual picnic.
All members have received or will be receiving their work duties for the picnic. If you need to make a change please attend the meeting; at the very least contact a board member and let them know before the general meeting.
Don’t forget to bring your sold raffle ticket stubs along with the funds collected.
Chino Basque Club will be selling “Future Member” t-shirts for children ($15). These will be available for sale at the picnic as well as dance practices on Sunday afternoons at the Chino Basque Club. Great t-shirt for your kids to wear to the picnics, all you Aitachi’s and Amatchi’s!

UDALEKU TO BE IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA NEXT YEAR
After a smashing success in Salt Lake City this year, Southern California will have a hard act to follow. The committee has already started planning for the festivities which will begin on June 25, 2017 and end on July 7.
The Southern California Basque Club picnic will be held during this time so the young talent will be performing for all of us at that picnic
and the final performance will be at the Chino Basque Club on July 7.
An estimated 100-120 participants are expected to be here
and so the committee is in the process of securing housing for these young people.
If you feel you can house 1-4 children please contact:
Maite Maisterrena at (909) 240-5159 or
Aline Anema at (951) 205-3668
A big thank you to Cyprien & Cathye Duhart for the freezer they donated to the Club.
NABO Pilota Finals will be held in San Francisco the weekend of August 27 & 28th. We wish all the Chino participants the best of luck!
