On Saturday, September 26th, the BEO (Basque Educational Organization) is presenting a one-night-only documentary-style concert at the Presidio Theatre in San Francisco, The History of Basque Music: A Living Portrait of an Ancient Land — and it’s worth the trip.

Pianist Josu Okiñena, txistulari Garikoitz Mendizabal, and soprano Noelia Ibáñez take the stage together for an immersive evening that traces the full arc of Basque musical heritage through live music, narration, and visuals. This is the only performance of this program on the West Coast.

The BEO has secured a hotel discount for those traveling in — so start making your plans. For more information, visit basqueeducational.org/bcd26-the-history-of-basque or click on the link below for tickets.
